Welcome to my underwater domain
Envision yourself as a minuscule fish, gliding effortlessly through the boundless expanse of the ocean. Sunlight dances through crystalline waters, illuminating vibrant coral formations. The underwater realm is your sanctuary, a place of freedom and tranquility, for it’s a space that belongs to you. You frolic amidst schools of clownfish, drifting through seaweed groves. You can ascend to marvel at the celestial canvas above or descend into enigmatic caverns. Sometimes, you simply desire to meander aimlessly, chasing effervescent bubbles or frolicking with starfish. These seemingly disparate pursuits bring you immeasurable joy. Regardless of your endeavors, remember that you possess the inherent right to be a diminutive fish, swimming freely in your personal ocean, and pursuing your passions with abandon.
The Bookgraphy
I inherited my love of reading from my parents. As a child, while they were reading the news, I would be engrossed in classic children’s novels. This passion has stayed with me throughout my life, as I’ve always seen books as magical islands waiting to be explored. Just like a fish swimming freely in the ocean, you can dive deep into the pages of a book, discover new worlds, meet fascinating characters, and embark on incredible adventures.
This passion inspired me to start ‘The Bookgraphy’ project, a social initiative aimed at fostering a love of reading in young people. As I grew older, I realized the profound impact that books can have on a person. This realization motivated me to create a space where children and teenagers could discover the joy of literature and expand their horizons. Through engaging activities, book clubs, and reading challenges, we hope to make reading a fun and rewarding experience for the next generation.
Being part of this project has been incredibly fulfilling. Seeing the excitement in young readers’ eyes as they discover new worlds through stories has reinforced my belief in the power of literature to shape minds and inspire change. Together with a dedicated team of volunteers, we strive to create an inclusive environment that encourages exploration and creativity. This project is not just about promoting books; it’s about nurturing a community of curious minds eager to learn and grow through the written word. Every book we share is a step towards opening doors to knowledge and igniting a lifelong passion for reading.
Watching my fish tank from the balcony has become a daily ritual for many years. This passion was ignited by my mother, who always encouraged me to care for living creatures and appreciate the beauty of nature. As I grew older, she shared her love for aquatic life, sparking my curiosity about underwater creatures. Eventually, we set up a small fish tank together, and I was instantly captivated by the vibrant beauty of the goldfish gracefully swimming through the water.
Gazing at these shimmering fish as they dart around their watery home brings me a deep sense of peace and tranquility, soothing my mind after a long day. Their playful movements and vibrant colors create a serene atmosphere that allows me to relax and reflect. This simple ritual has taught me the value of patience and responsibility in caring for living beings. Each time I look at my fish, I am reminded of the joy of nurturing life and the importance of finding beauty in the smallest things. My balcony fish tank is more than just a hobby; it’s a source of inspiration and tranquility that enriches my daily life in ways I never imagined. Peace is closer than you think.
I’m not just an old soul with ‘old-fashioned’ hobbies. I’ve also got a heart that’s deeply moved by music. I’ve tried many instruments, but piano and flute have always stuck with me. While the piano offers beautiful, soothing melodies, the flute has a unique, enchanting sound that’s deeply rooted in Vietnamese tradition. The piano takes me to a gentle, romantic evening, while the flute transports me to the vibrant mountains of the Northwest.
Learning the piano wasn’t easy. I was inspired by Richard Clayderman’s romantic and evocative pieces, which required not only technical skill but also emotional depth. As I delved deeper into his complex compositions, I discovered a challenging and rewarding journey. Mastering his pieces required countless hours of practice and patience. Eventually, playing the piano became a source of comfort and inspiration, allowing me to express my emotions and connect with Richard Clayderman’s timeless art.
If my journey with the piano was a journey through time, then my connection with the flute was a serendipitous encounter. In eighth grade, I witnessed my music teacher perform on the flute. The moment the notes filled the room, I was captivated by the enchanting sound. I had never heard anything so unique. Its emotional depth in traditional Vietnamese songs, from joy to nostalgia, was truly special. The flute’s simple yet elegant design immediately drew me in. After that performance, I knew I had to learn to play. Each note I played became a form of expression, a way to share my feelings and connect with others. Learning the flute wasn’t just about mastering an instrument; it was about discovering a part of myself and exploring the rich tapestry of traditional music. The more I practiced, the more I appreciated the flute’s ability to tell stories and evoke emotions, solidifying my passion for this beautiful instrument.
